For records tied to an arrest, separate the court file from the agency file. The Clerk record may show filed charges, docket events, plea, disposition, sentence, and probation fines. The Sheriff's Office or city police record may show the incident report, accident report, arrest report, booking record, or custody details. Mixing those paths can slow a request because each office controls a different record set.
