Barrow County Superior Case Flow

Barrow County Federal Court Boundary
Federal cases are not Barrow County Superior Court records. Barrow County falls in the Gainesville Division of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. The federal courthouse for that division is in Gainesville, and federal case access uses PACER and CM/ECF rather than the Barrow County Clerk. Federal records may include federal crimes, civil rights suits, removed civil cases, habeas matters, bankruptcy adversary matters, and appeals, but ordinary Barrow traffic, probate, divorce, misdemeanor, and felony state cases remain in local or state court systems unless a federal proceeding exists.
